Supervision

Philosophy: Mark uses an eclectic approach with emphases on Object Relations and Cognitive Behavioral theories. Mark believes in working with the client's strengths.

In supervision Mark looks for the unique strengths of the therapist: intuition, cognition, empathy or relationship. Mark operates on the theory that basic emotions and roles in the individual therapeutic process manifest themselves during the supervision process. Laughter, joy and encouragement are hallmarks of Mark's style.

Mark has been licensed as an LCMHC since 1994 and was an adjunct instructor for Johnson State College. He has supervised several therapists working on education or licensure.
